Facebook to Launch Music Platform

Have you ever thought that Facebook misses something so important for you? Have you ever dreamt of listening to music directly through Facebook? Well, I have good news for you- Facebook intends to launch a music service in September.

Facebook is just about to launch a music service. Three of Facebook`s main partners will be Spotify, MOG and Rdio. This platform will be announced on 22 Sept at Facebook`s f8 developer conference. This service will enable users to listen to their favorite hits within Facebook.

According to some reliable sources, Facebook will not host or stream music directly. They will rely on their partners to provide this.

Hewlett-Packard Co., the world’s largest personal-computer maker, confirmed its decision to spin off its PC business and even more shocking: it is going to “discontinue operations for webOS devices”. In other words, this is the end of the line for its just-launched tablet, the HP TouchPad as well as for its  smartphones that challenged Apple Inc.’s iPad and iPhone. You should have been up there on the Moon if you have not heard the hottest news which is dominating the Internet for the last month- Google + is now launched!

They used their proven strategy for viral marketing – make it accessible to selected people only and see what happens. The internet is floated by “I need a Google + Invite” threads and “Do you have Google + invites” questions.

Google made the right step by inviting people who influence the Internet in one or another way and they turned Google + into a sensation.

Another example of a highly successful example of invite-only is Quora, which is restricted to invite-only access for non US users.

There are companies, which took on the buzz and started creating ways to give away invitations in return for free marketing. It is not rare to read, follow us on Twitter, Facebook etc., Tweet the following “…” and we will send you an invitation.

Twitter becomes image-friendly- share your pictures on Twitter

I love good news early in the morning, so I was happy to figure out that Twitter`s official photo sharing feature in now available.

Actually the feature itself was launched earlier this year (in June), but now users can find a little camera icon under the “What`s happening” field. When clicked, it let users upload their photo.

Adobe Launches Adobe Edge- The First HTML5 Editing Tool

Last week Adobe released a public preview of its new web motion and interaction design tool-Adobe Edge.

Adobe Edge is the first professional-grade HTML5 editing tool on the market. The specific thing about it is that Edge enables users to create animated content using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript-not Flash. For the moment Adobe Edge is available for free, as the company is looking for feedback from developers.

Reddit launches the official  Chrome extension, which integrates Reddit into your browser. Reddit Companion provides a contextual bar when you click on Reddit link, which enables you to vote and comment on it easily (like Stumble Upon).

State of the Internet – Infographics

Everybody likes infographics, they show us interesting and even interesting information about different aspects of our lives. Today I found a very interesting one and I can`t wait to share it with all of you. Thanks to the OnlineSchools.org, we can now look at the current state of the internet.
PS: I really like it, but probably the author was not careful in Geography classes, as Bulgaria is situated on the Black Sea, not Caspian Sea.
